This heron was not going to go hungry. He caught fish after fish while I watched and shot. This is in Tarpon Springs on Howard Beach. Howard Beach in a strange, manmade beach. It starts as a beautiful park with picnic tables and walking trails. Then you drive out over the water on this long concrete strip with parking and boat ramps on either side until you get to this perfect rectangular beach at the end. Palm trees, parking lot, swimming, sun worship, fishing, windsurfing, beach football. Seems like a pretty popular place to hang out. Strange…but cool.
