 This was taken down by Project Greenshores this afternoon. I have this thing about birds. I cannot, not take a shot when I see them. I was climbing over rocks and through reeds to get a shot of a heron I saw by the water. I knelt down to see if I could get a good angle and he stepped behind a rock. Before I could stand up, I looked to my left and these ducks were no more than ten feet from me. How could I not take a shot. I know this is not the most interesting photo in the world but these guys are too cute. My friend Frank sent me an amazing link tonight. It's from a guy who lives and works in the French Quarter of New Orleans and it's a photo record of his life before, during and after the hurricane. There are a lot of pics but it's worth it to start at the beginning and go through them. Be sure to read his descriptions of each pic. They're great. This is the link.
