I walked across the Escambia County Bridge on Highway 90 to see what I could see. This boat was almost straight down from the bridge, near where the Escambia River meets Escambia Bay. Please feel free to disagree, but I really like the way this turned out. The irony of this little half sunken boat being safely tied down. The things in our own lives we consider safe and secure that can be turned upside down in an instant. Would it have been better for the little boat to be left untied to freely ride the waves or would it have been smashed against the bridge? How tight do you hold? When do you let go?
