I went out to the beach this evening to shoot a little. Stopped to the pier and down by Sabine for a while. I was about to wrap up for the night but I decided to drive down toward the entrance to Ft. Pickens to see if any sun was left. As I pulled into the sound side parking lot, I saw hundreds of birds walking around on the beach. Cool. I grabbed my bag and got out of the car to see if I could do anything with it. I made it about two steps from the car when I noticed this runner on the beach heading toward the birds. The birds noticed the guy too because they all took off. Hundreds of them. I raised my camera and managed to get off a couple of shots before they scattered. Very cool moment.
