New Year's Eve we went over to Seaside and caught Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience. I saw them a few years ago in New Orleans and didn't really appreciate what I was seeing at the time. Since that first time Mr. Simien has won the first ever Grammy for Cajun/Zydeco music and has music on the new Disney movie The Princess and the Frog. And looking back through his history, he's played with a lot of folks. I was able to get pretty close and roam so I got some pretty cool shots. After this we went down to the beach and watched fireworks over the Gulf. Took some shots there too. Very good night.
