Hummingbird at my parent's place. Every time we go up in the spring or summer, I spend a lot of time sitting on the back porch trying to shoot hummingbirds in action around the feeders. Many misses with occasional success. This little guy was causing problems this trip. He had claimed one particular feeder as his own and any time another bird came to get a sip, he ran them off. He then went and perched somewhere near and guarded the area against further intrusion. This is his watchful stance. ***Check out ADMiller's Photoblog. Local photog and fellow Channel 3 geek.
