Another image from the Top of the Rock, NYC. This time with a little more style and I love how this turned out. It's only been a little over a month since the trip but I'm missing the place pretty hard. Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" Gotta' love it. B's favorite albums 17: The Stranger by Billy Joel. It's been a while since I've put up a fav album but it's a good time for this one. I'm not sure how my infatuation with New York started but I know early Billy Joel influenced my view of the city. A college roommate turned me on to Cold Spring Harbor through 52nd Street. There are some gems on other early albums but The Stranger is just awesome top to bottom. (The link goes to a special edition version of the album. You get a remastered original album plus a 1977 live concert at Carnegie Hall with classics like Captain Jack, New York State of Mind, Say Goodbye to Hollywood and She's Got a Way.)
