Last Saturday at the UWF climbing wall I mentioned in the last post. J3 climbing high on the left and J2 trying to get around a difficult section on the right. The red shirt holding the rope at the bottom is yours truly. Guest photog, the lovely and talented J1. It's hard to explain how much fun that was. The kids all had a blast and there was something special about my support role. Especially with my kids. A little parenting microcosm. Giving them enough slack and encouraging them to test their boundaries to see how far they could go, while still being there to catch them if they fall. Man that sounds corny but I don't care. It was cool. I finished the Hopper biography last weekend. Good read. Just starting Thunderstruck by Erik Larson. Absolutely loved Devil in the White City and Isaac's Storm by Larson so I'm hoping for more. Found a local photog family with some nice work. (actually they found me but that's another story).
