![]() I took a little drive on Saturday and spent the day wandering around the great city of New Orleans. This is Jackson Square a little while after sundown and was inspired by the person who inspired the trip. Jason Langley is a wonderful, Big Easy based photographer and has some work exhibited in the new BECA Gallery in the warehouse district. Jason and I have crossed virtual paths a few times in the online photo community and I love his work so it made for a perfect excuse to visit. What a great day. You can check out Jason's work at Reciprocity Images. More music. My next favorite album has a New Orleans connection. The song 'Moon Over Bourbon Street' was inspired by the Anne Rice classic, Interview with the Vampire. Love the book, love the song and love this album. B's Favorite Albums 4: 'Bring on the Night (Live)' by Sting. Check It Out iTunes (I saw Sting in Nashville years ago with essentially the same lineup as the group on this album. That was a very cool show.) Posted by blbutler on January 13th, 2008 Archived under: Night / Long Exposure, Color, Travel, Wordplay |
