![]() This morning on Pensacola Beach. The last person you want to see roll into town is Jim Cantore. He was here this weekend covering a storm. I'm sure he's a perfectly nice man and I hear he does a good deal of charity work but when Storm Tracker Numero Uno is looking for a bullseye and he picks your hometown, you don't feel like giving him a warm and fuzzy greeting. (he actually does get one though because he's a bit of a weather celebrity and this is a friendly town but the feeling passes quickly when the boarding up begins) Luckily, this time it was just a minor tropical disturbance and nothing much came of it. Don't let the toll-gate hit you on the way out Jim. :-) I do love being out there when the Gulf is acting up though. The clouds, the waves, the wind. The place comes alive.
