![]() A beautiful, tree lined section of 12th avenue. It's a quirky little road. Old Sacred Heart Hospital is there. It looks like a castle and I've yet to get a good shot of it. I've tried at night but they blast it with spot lights for some reason and it's pretty harsh. Jay's Bakery is on 12th. A local favorite for those with a sweet tooth. There seems to be a church on every block. I'm not sure why there are so many. 12th is also home to the best Mexican restaurant in town, The Cactus Flower. Awesome food. But my favorite part of 12th is this magical canopy of trees. Very cool to drive through. Check It Out: Who need a stinkin' camera!? I love this image from Cool Daddio. He calls it Petal Pentameter and it was taken with a scanner. He's been doing it for a while and has a whole section of Scanner Art. Once again, it ain't the tools, it's how you use them.
