 A tower and dish outside the station bringing you the news of the day. OUR TOP STORY TONIGHT... Local Restaurant Destroyed by Fire One of the best restaurants in Pensacola burned today. Jerry's Cajun Cafe was heavily damaged by fire this afternoon around lunchtime. Nobody was hurt in the fire but there are a lot of sad people in town. I'm hoping Jerry can come back from this and be even bigger and better than before. Aheee! Cookies Invade Casa de Butler We are knee deep in Girl Scout Cookies around here. Julie is the 'cookie mom' for the troop and has been working hard organizing and handing out over 2 thousand boxes of cookies. 2,000 boxes. For just one troop. I wish I could help but I'm too busy eating. FCAT Unleashed on Schools Fourth graders are taking the FCAT all week. J2 seems to be doing well. I think the teachers are more stressed about it than the kids. It's really testing the schools, not the kids, if that makes sense. Weather Report Highs in the mid 70's. Low humidity, clear blue skys and azaleas are blooming. Spring has sprung and it doesn't get much better than this. Sports Report March Madness is right around the corner.
