 I saw this done in Sports Illustrated with a long jumper a few weeks ago and it looked so cool I thought I'd give it a try. J2 was more than happy to go to the park and help me out. It's a 6 frame burst at roughly 2 seconds. Speaking of Sports Illustrated, I think I have a strange way of reading the magazine. The first thing I do is flip to the back page and read Rick Reilly's column. Wonderful writer. Always good. Often great. Then I flip back to the front and check out the 'Leading Off' images. Usually three or four of the most amazing photographs you'll see anywhere. The image I'm copying here was a 'Leading Off' image. Next, I'll check out 'Sign of the Apocalypse' and 'They Said It.' Usually good for a quick laugh. Then it varies depending on where I am. If I'm at work, I'll just thumb through and see if anything else strikes my fancy. (I like having my fancy struck.) If I'm at home, my buddy Frank gives me his copy of SI when he's done and takes the time to mark things that strike his fancy. (Not sure how much he enjoys having his fancy struck but if I had to guess...) So I read the things he's marked in red. Usually good stuff. He's got pretty good taste for a Texan.
