![]() Night before last at the foot of the Bob Sikes bridge. Back on the coast for a minute. More from the Chicago trip later. Right before this is when I dropped my remote shutter release in the water. It doesn't like water. The moon was almost full and I was shooting the other direction, away from the lights. I had taken a couple of long exposure shots and was moving out on the rocks for a better angle when...splash. I got it out but it was dead. At least it wasn't the camera. I wasn't ready to leave so I tried to find something in the under 30 second range so I could just use the camera timer. This is what I found. I like the way it turned out. (I think the shutter release may be alive. I did a quick test today and it worked. Maybe it just needed to dry out a bit.) 25s - f/4 - ISO100 - 20mm(32mm eq) - RAW Posted by blbutler on August 9th, 2006 Archived under: Night / Long Exposure, B&W, Landmarks / Local Flavor |
