![]() From the Pensacola Mardi Gras parade downtown tonight. There's another big one Saturday downtown and then Sunday on the beach, but I like the one under the lights. It's always fun but I forget that until I'm in the middle of it. Then it becomes this colorful, loud, dreamy blur of masks and beads and moon pies and flashing and screaming and ships and lights and crowds and music and canons and laughter. Talk about sensory overload. I'm tired but still too wired to sleep. As far as the shooting went, I didn't get much worth showing. Just not enough light for all the movement even at ISO1600. A couple of cool motion blurs like this guy throwing beads but it bugs me that he's not sharper. I do like the colors though. I did learn a few things so maybe next time.
