![]() I've finally gotten in the habit of taking my camera with me wherever I go. I just toss my bag in the car when I go out, even if I'm just running to the store. This was taken on Fairfield drive on the west side of town. (let's just say it's not the picture postcard side of Pensacola) It was almost dark and I was driving to the station for a late night edit when I saw these birds going crazy. Hundreds of them. I pulled over into the parking lot of an abandoned gas station, got out and shot back across the road. After a minute, they settled back down into the trees and I got back in my car and drove away. Here's a quick blurb about the show on Friday. My stuff will be across the street from the Dragonfly Gallery in the PTC building. 'Gallery Night to be bustling with music, art, cooking'.
